(1) The parties shall appoint a maximum of three persons as conciliators from among the persons mentioned in the list prepared by the community in accordance with Rule 37.
(2) If the parties are unable to appoint a conciliator according to sub-rule (1) or if the parties themselves request the community to appoint a conciliator, the community will appoint a suitable person from among the persons on the list of conciliators after considering the matter of the dispute.
(3) When a conciliator is appointed according to sub-rule (2), a maximum of three persons shall be appointed as a conciliator with the consent of the parties.
(4) If one or both of the parties to the dispute are women and if requested by the parties, when appointing more than one conciliator for any dispute, at least one woman shall be appointed as a conciliator as long as available.
(5) Other provisions related to the appointment and removal of conciliators as mentioned in sub-rules (3), (4), (5) and (6) of rule 30 shall also apply to the community with necessary modifications.
